Shenward Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors has acquired a new HQ.

The 8,000 sq ft base is in Summit House, at the Woodland Park business park, between Leeds and Bradford.

Schofield Sweeney advised Shenward on the deal, which was completed for an undisclosed sum.

Sherad Dewedi, managing partner of Shenward, said: “The move to Summit House is a major milestone in our journey to becoming a firm of choice for professional services and we are thankful to each and every person who’s been involved with our journey to get here.

“Without the continued support from our longstanding clients and the dedication of the entire Shenward team, this move would not have been possible.

“As a firm we are committed to growing alongside our clients and thus, the move to Summit House is our response to their ambitions and growth plans.

“Furthermore, as our client base continues to evolve in size and location, it was vital we chose a location that provided greater accessibility from all areas of the country.

“We would like to thank Schofield Sweeney LLP and our lenders, Lloyds Bank Plc, for all their hard work in helping us acquire the perfect headquarters to pivot our future growth in our teams and clients and expand our service lines.”

Pardeep Khela, associate in Schofield Sweeney’s commercial property, advised Shenward Chartered Accountants on the acquisition.

Khela said: “I am delighted to have assisted Shenward on the acquisition of their new headquarters. The new office not only means greater accessibility but also helps build on their excellent service to clients.

“I enjoyed working with Shenward, Mark Brearley & Co and Lloyds Bank.”
