Breakfast event looks at the secrets to success

What is the secret success? At the latest Breakfast Club from UK Israel Business, which is taking place both in person and being streamed online, this is one of the topics which will be discussed by Janette Benaddi & Helen Butters, two of the crew of Yorkshire Rows – a team of formidable working mums who became the first women to row across the North Sea and hold a Guinness World Record for rowing 3000 nautical miles across the Atlantic.

Benaddi and Butters will be discussing how you build success through stories of their own journey.

Benaddi who left school at 16 with no qualifications went on to become a nurse, before moving into teaching and then counselling and subsequently the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. After holding senior sales and marketing roles in global organisations and FTSE 100, she went on to become an entrepreneur founding a group of three companies in 1997. It was as she sold these businesses and retirement was on the cards when she decided to take on another challenge and skipper the Yorkshire Rows team. Now running two businesses with her husband she says that the ocean taught her to enjoy the moment and so she is!

Butters a communications & engagement expert who spent 25 years leading on communications in the NHS for both provider and commissioning organisations. A qualified performance coach with NLP, and a member of the National Council of Psychotherapists, in 2016 she decided to follow her dream of rowing across both the North Sea and the Atlantic, and proved you can do whatever you put your mind to, while also gaining a world record. However not content with the challenge or rowing oceans she says she has her sights “on climbing a very big mountain!”

The free to attend networking event will take place at MAZC Centre Leeds on 25 November and also be streamed via Zoom. To book your place in person click here.
