Formula One Autocentres gears up for another opening

Mechanics at an autocentre in Hull have geared up for the opening day of their new branch.

The new Hull branch of Formula One Autocentres is the latest to be opened by the family owned company which opened on 25 November.

The site launch has created 10 full time positions within the local area. The company says it has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds to open the new build on Medina Park, Stoneferry Road, on what was previously a vacant plot.

Simon Jennings, digital director at Formula One Autocentres, said: “It is always exciting to be able to open a new site, and shows the huge demand for our services in and around Hull and will be a boost to employment too.

“We have invested thousands into creating this garage, and for us to be able to create 10 jobs for talented mechanics and back-office staff is something we are really proud to be able to do.

“Our garages are always run to the highest of standards, so we have been on the look out for the very best talent available.”

The new garage for motorists will be offering tyres, MOT, servicing and batteries, and will be open seven days a week.

The family-owned company has been running since 1969 and now has more than 120 branches across England.
