Equity investor successfully exits technology solutions provider

Growth capital investor, BGF, has exited its investment in 365 Response – a provider of technology solutions which support mission critical transport services across the NHS, Local Authorities and private transport providers.

The business has been acquired by RLDatix, which offers governance, risk and compliance and workforce management solutions for the healthcare sector.

Headquartered in Wakefield, 365 Response helps healthcare organisations manage patient and non-patient transport including urgent care, mental health and courier services.

Its intelligent transport management and procurement marketplace technology allows organisations to plan, dispatch, track and trace their people, vehicles and passengers, as well as secure and book transport end-to-end.

BGF invested £3m into 365 Response in September 2020, with the funding used to help accelerate the development of the company’s technology platform and support the scale up of its commercial and operational teams.

Since then, the business has grown headcount by 50% and achieved rapid organic growth, with further investment provided by BGF and the founder shareholders in October 2021 to fund two strategic bolt-on acquisitions (KL2 and FlexiRoute).

Rob Johnson, investor at BGF, said: “365 Response is a fantastic business that fulfils a clear and increasing demand for smart, compliant, and affordable transport services to both councils and the NHS.

“We are pleased to have supported the business through a period of rapid growth which has culminated in a successful exit for all shareholders. We wish the team and the business all the best for the next stage of their journey.”

Addleshaw Goddard (Richard Hunt, Carly Gulliver & Cameron Allwood) provided legal advice on behalf of the shareholders of 365 Response.

Gulliver, managing associate at Addleshaw Goddard, added: “We’re delighted to have advised BGF and the other shareholders on the exit of 365 Response. This is a real success story for the digital sector in Yorkshire.”
