Shortlist revealed for the 2022 Northern Leadership Awards
The 2022 Northern Leadership Awards shortlist has been revealed, with representatives from 50 companies selected by the judges for their outstanding qualities.
The Northern Leadership Awards are in partnership with CMS, Grant Thornton and Quarterdeck and will take place on Wednesday, May 25 at The Queens Hotel, Leeds.
For the first time, the evening awards dinner will follow a half-day Northern Leadership Conference – and tickets for the both events can now be booked here.
The awards celebrate the people and organisations across the North who are role models for their teams and raise the bar for their competitors.
The winners will show the qualities of extraordinary leadership and be able to demonstrate the positive impact this has had. The awards offer a great opportunity to recognise and showcase the achievements and success of businesses in the region.
Shelina Begum and Ben Ormsby, North West and Yorkshire editors at TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “It was a fantastic judging session discussing the plethora of fine entries we received.
“The quality of the submissions showed the strength of leadership we have in our organisations across the North and many had a real focus on both the green agenda and on mental wellbeing – a theme continued from the 2021 event where empathetic leadership was key in many of the winners submissions.
“Congratulations to everyone who has made the 2022 shortlist and we look forward to celebrating their achievements at the awards dinner in May.”
The judges were CMS partner Tanya Holt; Grant Thornton partners Rachel Engwell and David Hillan; Kris Northfield, operations director at Quarterdeck; Caroline Pullich, managing partner NFU Mutial and chair Institute of Directors N Yorks, and Shelina Begum and Ben Ormsby from TheBusinessDesk.com.
