Introducing The Yorkshire Mixer
At TheBusinessDesk.com we understand connections are key to success in business so we’re launching our new young professionals networking event series – The Yorkshire Mixer, in partnership with Pink Gorilla.
We know that the last two years have been challenging particularly when it comes to meeting and growing networks of people so we’re focused on bringing together the region’s young professionals, leaders and future leaders from all sectors to discuss and shape the future of God’s own county and foster a network which will shape the region for decades to come.
The first event will take place at Banyan in Leeds city centre on 5 May and include three hours of informal networking and discussion, alongside a short conversation between our editor young and relevant speaker from the region who will share their thoughts and opinions.
Tickets for the event cost £25 + VAT and include a welcome glass of Prosecco, canapés & a drink voucher exchangeable for a glass of Prosecco, 175ml wine, pint of Coors, bottle of Peroni or single spirit & mixer.
Commenting on the new series, Yorkshire editor Ben Ormsby said: “Relationships and networks are important in business and after two years of lockdowns it’s exciting to be able to launch a new networking event aimed at bringing together the young professionals of Yorkshire.
“I for one am looking forward to the first event in May and look forward to both making new connections and catching up old ones. And for those who want to know what we mean by young professionals; well if you don’t tell, we won’t ask!”
