Delicious flavours + a fantastic atmosphere

After two years of lockdowns  I couldn’t miss the chance to go and review SALT Craft + Falafel at Granary Wharf in Leeds one lunchtime.

I can safely say the atmosphere at the collaboration between SALT and Falafel Guys was welcoming and casual, although I can imagine it getting lively once evening comes. It certainly seems like a great venue whether for any occasion from socialising with colleagues for an afterwork drink or bite to eat or  a place to meet friends and kick off weekend celebrations!

Obviously this was my first review for TheBusinessDesk.com – normally I’m found manning a clipboard at our events – and I took it seriously! So I ordered a selection of dishes including a falafel and halloumi wrap, falafel and halloumi salad bowl , sweet potato chips and halloumi fries…I promise I did leave some dishes untested.

So how did it taste? The answer delicious, and again because I’m a diligent reviewer I also sought out the opinion of some other patrons who assured me that the chicken shawarma and halloumi wrap and the triple decker which adds falafel to the previous combo were equally as delectable!

However what’s nice is that everything is made to order and comes with a plethora of options available to personalise you dish what’s more not only do the dishes pack a punch full of authentic middle easter flavours , the portions are a decent sized too, making it perfect for both a lunch time treat or preparing for a night or weekend tasting SALT’s selection of beers (or soft drinks).

Ultimately the venue’s location is fantastic and the service was unbelievable with all the staff friendly and accommodating. The ultimate accolade for any restaurant should be would you return, and for me it’s an unequivocal yes, in fact I may have already been back since this review!
