Software coding trainer on the march as it launches its latest hub

Leeds-based software coding training provider, Northcoders, is advancing south.

It will open a brand new training hub in Birmingham city centre to deliver the company’s range of bootcamp courses across the Midlands.

The latest site, which will open on 3 May, will be in Spaces at The Mailbox on Commercial Street and will have dedicated office space. Staff and students will also have access to the available expansive co-working areas.

The launch of the hub is a result of recent increase in demand for technology training and upskilling in the region. It will facilitate flexibility of hybrid teaching both online and in person.

Founded in 2015, Northcoders is a provider of B2B and B2C coding and software development training to companies and individuals across the UK. As well as Leeds, it also has hubs in Manchester and Newcastle.

The business says it aims to address the digital skills gap in the UK to meet the increasing demand for digital specialists from corporates and Government.

Chief executive officer, Chris Hill, said: “Birmingham and the wider Midlands region has a strong tech scene so this was the next natural step in our growth following the opening of our sites in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.

“The demand for digital skills and upskilling is only going to increase over the next few years so the focus for us will be on ensuring our Birmingham hub delivers the education and technology training that will help businesses, individuals and the region’s economy to thrive.”
