Positive start to 2022 trading at healthcare software systems group

Healthcare software systems provider, EMIS Group, says it continues to enjoy high levels of recurring revenue and remains in a strong financial position.

The Leeds-based business has released a trading update ahead of its AGM, which is being held later today.

The company’s Board says trading for the year to date is in line with their expectations.

EMIS adds it has a robust pipeline of potential new business, investment and acquisition opportunities for 2022 and beyond.

It notes the two acquisitions completed in the year so far – Edenbridge and FourteenFish – are performing well, with integration progressing on plan and new market opportunities emerging as expected.

The Group says it continues to invest in its technology and cloud refresh strategy as well as in improved internal systems, explaining that these projects are expected to drive greater efficiencies in the coming years.

Andy Thorburn, chief executive officer, said: “The Board is pleased to report a good start to trading in 2022 and believes the Group continues to be very well placed to deliver greater insight, efficiency and integration in healthcare for the benefit of our customers across the NHS and private sectors.”
