Soaring demand boosts sales at cleaning products giant

Cleaning giant Astonish has seen significant growth, increasing its sales to over £36m due to high demand for products both in the UK and internationally.

The Bradford-based firm has seen a more than 70% increase in sales, from £21m in 2019 to £36m in the last financial year.

2022 will also see the biggest financial investment in the company’s history, with a spend of £25m being injected into the brand’s products, facilities and workforce.

International trade amongst the business’s 25 exclusive global partners has been stronger than ever before, with its exports increasing by 75% over the last six years in markets including Pakistan, Lithuania, Malta and India.

The brand has also increased sales and market share in Israel and East Asia across Korea and Taiwan while Greece has become the business’ fifth biggest export customer.

CEO of Astonish, Howard Moss, said: “We are always striving to be bigger and better and have ambitious growth plans for the business.

“Our latest significant investment will see us move to brand new purpose-built premises, tripling our size from 52,000 sq ft to 128,000 sq ft.

“By investing in our brand we can increase productivity with new state of the art equipment, quadrupling sales both domestically and around the globe, while ensuring our products retain the high quality our customers have come to expect.”

Astonish has recently been honoured with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, due to its growth across international markets over the last few years.
