People: Homes by Esh and Hatch

North of England housebuilder, Homes by Esh, has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of a new land manager.

Nick Bradshaw-Hughes will bolster the future offering of Homes by Esh by generating and accelerating development opportunities across North Yorkshire, the North East and Tees Valley.

He said: “I have joined the team at an exciting time, last year was one of the most successful years in company history and this record sales performance has continued into 2022.

“Higher sales generate an increased need for new developments and strategic land purchases, which is my priority.

“We want to bring superior, high specification homes to more areas of the region therefore brownfield or greenfield sites with detail or outline planning status are of interest to us.

“Developable sites are in high demand, but Homes by Esh is a privately owned company benefiting from available funds and a lean structure, meaning we can act quickly and decisively to benefit landowners.”

He joins the company following a 10-year stint working for registered social housing providers.

Colin Willetts, Homes by Esh’s deputy managing director, said: “Nick brings with him a wealth of experience in land acquisition and will be a huge asset to the team here at Homes by Esh.

“Moving forward we wish to continue our period of organic growth and seek to build on our land portfolio throughout this year and into the future.”

Leeds-headquartered PR, social and activation agency, Hatch, has welcomed Kate Hutchinson, Tom Lord, and Nina Rathore to its team.

Hutchinson joins as junior account director and brings with her more than five years’ experience working across lifestyle brands, such as TOMY, Agria Pet Insurance and The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan.

She will be responsible for a number of new and existing clients.

Lord joins as a junior PR & content account director, bringing valuable experience in both traditional and digital PR, content creation and video production, in a role that bridges the gap between Hatch’s PR and content departments.

His previous role saw him work across household brands such as Jet2.com and Yorkshire Water.

Finally, Rathore joins as graduate executive and will work across a selection of the agency’s FMCG and lifestyle accounts; taking the Hatch headcount to 36.

James Hickman, director, said: “It’s great to welcome Kate, Tom and Nina to the team. We’ve had a really strong first six months of the year and our digital PR, content and social offerings are going from strength-to-strength.

“Our latest additions bring with them a range of skills that are part of our continued effort to offer our clients not only a best in class service, but also create an environment and culture that truly allows for each one of our teams’ individual development.”
