Firecracker ball returns with prestigious sponsors, a new look and Atlantis theme
Following a two-year pandemic hiatus, it’s all hands on deck for The Firecracker Ball, which will return to Rudding Park Hotel on Saturday 15 October 2022 with an Atlantis theme and a host of new sponsors.
The glittering black-tie event, which has raised over £3m for Barnardo’s since it became its chosen charity in 2002, will this year welcome as its main supporters, Berry’s Jewellers, House of Taittinger, and JCT600 with their specialist brands, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche and Rolls Royce cars on display including an exciting opportunity to view something very special behind closed doors.
The Atlantis theme will see guests transported to an undersea world of shipwrecks, treasures, mermaids, mermen and a host of other underwater wonders. Meanwhile, a new website will enable guests to keep up-to-date with all announcements during the build up to the event and participate in the silent auction ahead of the night itself.
Simon Walton, managing director of Berry’s Jewellers, said: “The Firecracker Ball has a reputation that precedes itself in terms of its prestigious appeal, so our brands are the perfect fit. We can’t wait to be a part of The Firecracker Ball 2022, which I’m sure will be back bigger and better than ever before after its two-year break due to the pandemic.”
Chair of the Firecracker committee, Mark J Nelson, added: “The Firecracker Ball is a fabulous opportunity to host clients or friends at a truly memorable event. It is a must for Yorkshire’s leading corporate businesses and entrepreneurs, with companies and individuals returning year on year.
“Our new branding, new supporters, fantastic theme, and soon-to-be-announced headline act will bring the Firecracker Ball back with a real bang.”
Alongside the new sponsors, The Angels Events, Source Marketing Communications, TheBusinessDesk.com, Rudding Park and Team Print Services have also confirmed their ongoing support as partners.
The event will once again be hosted by author and former BBC and ITV presenter, Jon Hammond and the committee will soon be announcing a host of other surprises for the hundreds of guests, including the headline act, high profile celebrities and ‘money can’t buy’ auction prizes.
Kirsty Guy, senior relationship manager for Barnardo’s, said: “The funds raised from The Firecracker Ball play a huge part in enabling Barnardo’s Yorkshire to offer services to help children flourish, keep families strong, and allow communities to protect and nurture their young people.”
