Recruitment agency establishes new city centre presence

A recruitment agency is expanding into East Yorkshire as part of ambitious growth plans.

Castle Employment Group, which has placed more than 3,000 people into permanent, contract and temporary employment in the past 12 months, has now taken on a team to establish a dedicated presence based in new offices in Hull city centre.

The move is part of the agency’s five-year strategy to double in size.

Castle works with more than 600 businesses and is based out of offices in Hull, York and Leeds, with its head office in Scarborough.

The agency, which currently has nearly 50 staff, is made up of nine specialist divisions, focused on accountancy and finance, business support, education, engineering and manufacturing, hospitality, HR, industrial, procurement and technology.

It also offers expert advice on employment law and health and safety through its consultancy Castle HR Solutions.

Castle business support manager, Jordana Renshaw, said: “We are excited to be expanding our operations in East Yorkshire and are committed to supporting jobseekers, employees, local businesses and the economy.

“We have invested in creating a dedicated East Yorkshire team who are focused on the needs of the area, working from a location which is easily accessible for candidates and clients alike.

“Our values-based, forward-thinking approach to recruitment means we only ever place people into roles they’ll love with businesses that are a great culture fit for them.

“This means we get it right first time and the huge majority of our candidates are still in post one year after appointment, which is great for them and for their employers, who save money on repeat recruitment and have a productive person right where they’re needed.”
