Citigarden Living launches latest wave of serviced apartments

Citigarden Living, on the edge of Leeds city centre, has launched 54 one-bedroom serviced apartments.

The apartment block on Regent Street opened in June and each apartment comprises double bed, ensuite shower facilities, fully fitted kitchen, smart TV and air conditioning.

Other amenities on site include secure car parking, laundry, super-fast broadband and IT support.

Across the road is a local supermarket, gym and café.

Citigarden Living was created as an add-on to the Citispace residential complex, built in 2006, which comprises more than 300 one and two bedroomed apartments for those looking for longer stays of six months plus.

Robert Kidd, chief executive at Citigarden, said: “We recognised there was a gap in the market for affordable short-term accommodation in the city. Our serviced apartments appeal to all sorts of clientele – contract workers from out of town, travelling theatre troupes and students on short courses.”

“We have also had a number of guests staying with us as a short-term solution when they are between houses or waiting for works to be completed on their homes.”

George Exley, general manager, said: “Being fully inclusive of all bills means, especially in these times of uncertainty with rising household costs, we take this out of the equation and our guests know there are no extras to pay.”
