Ice cream manufacturer boosts its green credentials
North Yorkshire’s Brymor Ice Cream has made a six-figure investment in the installation of a solar PV array, which will see the amount of electricity it pulls from the grid reduced by up to 50%.
With works carried out by Thirsk-based Dresser Solar, the scheme will produce around 85,000 free kWh of electricity over a 12-month period, reducing Brymor’s costs by approximately £20,000 in year one, with further savings in the following years.
