IT services business earmarks £15m investment for acquisition and growth

Auxilion, a provider of IT services and solutions, is planning to acquire a company as part of its £15m investment in its UK expansion plans for the next three years.
It also aims to increase its existing UK workforce by 60 people over the next two years.
Operating from Sheffield, Telford and Warrington in the UK, the Irish organisation is actively looking to acquire a mid-tier IT service provider in the UK which will complement its existing portfolio of managed services and IT solutions.
Part of the multi-million pound spend will go towards Auxilion’s Services Centre of Excellence in Sheffield, which delivers 24/7 support to its growing customer base – spanning both the public and private sectors.
As well as developing the centre as a hub for collaboration, ideation and value creation, Auxilion is expanding its floor space by 60% and adding to its team.
The Services Centre of Excellence will have capacity for up to 120 employees.
Auxilion, which works with partners such as Microsoft and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, expects to further strengthen its presence in the UK market, enabling it to drive significant business growth.
Earlier this year, the business revealed it is on course to grow its revenues by 25% by the end of 2022, compared to 2021, taking its revenues beyond £40m.
Philip Maguire, CEO, said: “Our acquisition plans and this significant investment show how committed we are to expanding our presence in the UK market, where we have operated for more than 20 years.
“The north of England offers unique opportunities, most notably due to the access it provides to top-quality talent.
“We are laser-focused on providing innovative services and solutions that deliver near-term and future value, enabling companies to navigate disruption and transformation successfully.
“Having a team of highly skilled, engaged professionals is crucial in terms of our ability to deliver digital thinking, built differently.
“By taking advantage of the talent pool in the north of England and acquiring a like-minded, similarly aligned company, we can lead digital change and make a real impact.”
