People: Silk Family Law; Stewarts; Signum Facilities Management; and more

Silk Family Law has welcomed two new members to their team, taking the total to 25.

Hannah Craven joins the team as a new solicitor, and Gabbie Clasper who will be joining as an associate, having previously worked for Emsleys.

Clasper said: “I am delighted to be joining Silk. It is really inspiring to join such an established law firm and be part of an amazing team. I can’t wait to get started supporting their clients and achieving the best outcomes.”

Lisette Dupré has recently joined Stewarts law firm as a partner in the divorce and family law department in Leeds.

Having experience across all aspects of private family law, she has a number of accolades to her name, including being recognised as the Gold winner of the Citywealth Future Leaders Family Lawyer of the Year award in 2021 and ranked by The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner in 2020.

Dupré  is the founder and chair of the EU Law Working Group, and a member of a Brexit and Family Law Working Group, and also sits on the Law Society’s Family Law Committee.
She has also, as of this month, joined the International Academy of Family Lawyers.

A South Yorkshire facilities management business is continuing its rapid expansion after appointing two new team members.

Signum Facilities Management, based in Doncaster, has appointed Ryan Daines as an engineer and Richard Precious to the role of maintenance coordinator.

The business, which specialises in managing and delivering building maintenance, now has 10 permanent employees and two temporary staff set to become permanent in the coming months.

Signum FM is also working with Doncaster College to recruit an apprentice and an additional electrician. By the start of next year, the company expects to have doubled staff numbers from the start of 2022.

The new appointments come after Signum recently secured new clients including National Horseracing College (formerly Northern Racing College) and KP Snacks.

“They join at an exciting time for the business. We have seen a 40% growth in turnover in the past 18 months and are also really proud of the strong culture we have nurtured in the company.

Silverstone Building Consultancy has announced the appointment of Bradley Wild as a chartered building surveyor in its Leeds office.

Wild joins from Sanderson Weatherall, and will work on all aspects of building surveying, dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration and project monitoring.

Silverstone Building Consultancy, is a specialist firm of chartered building surveyors and project managers, with offices in Leeds and Newcastle and currently employs 16 staff.

Wild said: “I was particularly attracted to the firm because it is an independent practice, has a variety of very interesting projects and offers impressive and achievable employee progression routes.

“I am working closely with director, Ben Rennocks and team, in what is a really vibrant and personable environment. I am looking forward to supporting the wider team and offering added value to our clients.”
