Saltaire health tech sold to Canadian group by administrators

Administrators appointed today to oversee Saltaire-based digital health provider Advanced Digital Innovation (UK) have sold the firm to Canadian group VitalHub Corp

ADI  developed the ‘MyPathway’ digital health platform used by a number of NHS trusts across the UK to improve patient interactions during treatment.

Although a significant level of investment was made into developing and launching the platform since incorporation in 2012, the firm needed further revenue growth to continue trading in its current form. After exploring options, including marketing the business for sale, the directors resolved to place it into administration.

Immediately following the appointment of the joint administrators, Neil Morley and Howard Smith from Interpath Advisory on Friday, the business and certain assets of the company were sold to MyPathway Solutions Limited and Intouch Health Limited, part of the VitalHub Corp group based in Toronto, Canada.

As part of the sale, six employees transferred to MyPathway Solutions, with various contracts replaced on appointment to ensure the continuity of patient services.

Neil Morley, director at Interpath Advisory and Joint Administrator, said, “We are pleased to have concluded this transaction which enables the MyPathway platform to continue to support patients across various NHS trusts with no patient interruption.”

Mike Sanders, chief executive of VitalHub UK, added, “The MyPathway platform is a leading digital health portal platform, that will allow us at VitalHub, with Intouch Flow Manager, to truly offer end to end patient flow and will likely be the first conjoined solution of its kind in the UK Healthcare marketplace. We look forward to developing and growing the platform further in the UK, as part of the VitalHub family of businesses.”
