Leeds-headquartered property investment, development, car park and hotel operator, Town Centre Securities (TCS) has appointed Craig Burrow as its new group property director.

He will join the company board with effect from 1 January 2023.

Burrow joined the company in October 2020 as development director and to date has been focused on the significant development pipeline including Whitehall Riverside, the Merrion Estate in Leeds and Piccadilly Basin in Manchester.

He has significant experience in the property industry having started as a commercial agent at Weatherall Green & Smith and then DTZ Debenham Tie Leung.

Burrow then moved to Bruntwood, where for most of his 13 years he was the director of Leeds responsible for overseeing all aspects of managing the Leeds portfolio including asset management, acquisitions, disposals, investments and redevelopments including Platform, Hepworth Point and Sovereign Square.

He is well known throughout the region’s property business community for his long standing positions on boards, committees and steering groups including the Yorkshire Property Charitable Trust of which he has been the chair of trustees since it was founded in 2015.

Edward Ziff, TCS chairman and chief executive, said: “It has been great getting to know Craig over the past couple of years and he has already contributed significantly to resetting and reinvigorating the business.

“Having demonstrated a breadth of investment, development and asset management experience we are confident Craig’s ambition and passion for delivery will be invaluable in leading the property team in the next chapter of the company’s growth.”
