New FD at Severfield-Rowen

STRUCTURAL steel company Severfield-Rowen today announced the appointment of Alan Dunsmore as finance director.

Mr Dunsmore will join the North Yorkshire-based business on March 1. 

Peter Davison is to retire from the position on March 31.  

Mr Dunsmore, 40, joins the board of Severfield-Rowen from Smiths Group where he has been director of finance of Smiths Detection since 2004.

Mr Davison will work alongside Mr Dunsmore as a consultant until the company’s AGM on June 3.

Mr Davison will continue to serve the company as company secretary after this time.

Mr Dunsmore will assume key directorship roles within the group including JSW Severfield Structures (India) and all operating subsidiaries. He will also have group responsibilities in the areas of IT and Human Resources.
