People: Raworths; Mills & Reeve; Czajka Care Group; and more

Raworths, in Harrogate, has promoted Adam Colville-Robins to an associate in the Dispute Resolution team, the latest in a series of promotions at the legal firm.
Colville-Robins, who joined Raworths as a solicitor in 2020, acts for a variety of commercial and private clients, working on a range of contentious matters concerning property, contractual disputes and commercial and private debt recovery.
His appointment comes on the back of a number of senior promotions over the last 12 months under the leadership of Simon Morris, who was appointed managing partner in April 2022 following 20 years with the business.
Morris said: “We congratulate Adam on his promotion, which is down to the excellent quality of his work and his ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with his clients, something we pride ourselves on at Raworths.

Raworths is investing in leadership training for its senior team and training for three staff members appointed ‘mental health first aiders’ to offer support and advice for its team of more than 70 people.
The firm also has a Corporate Social Responsibility programme, supporting local charities and fundraising activities.

National law firm, Mills & Reeve has made two appointments to its Leeds employment, pensions and immigration team.
Gemma Sherbourne has joined as a senior associate from LCF Law. She is a specialist employment lawyer with more than 17 years’ experience advising on the full range of employment issues, from TUPE, directors’ service agreements and discrimination to board and other senior level exit agreements for both individuals and companies.
She has particular experience in the manufacturing, education and retail sectors.
Alexandra Byrne has been appointed as an associate. Byrne, who joined from Gordons, advises companies and individual on all employment law matters.
The appointments have taken the team to seven lawyers and further recruitment is planned over the next 12 months.
Stuart Craig, partner and head of the Leeds employment team, said the appointments follow a period of rapid growth, with several high-profile client wins.

A Nab Wood care home has promoted two of its dedicated team members to joint deputy managers.
Brookfield Care Home is one of five homes owned and run by Czajka Care Group, and Helen Larkin and Adelajda Przykaza have worked for the family-run business for a total of more than 10 years.
Przykaza started her career in care as a care assistant and progressed through the ranks over the last six years, while gaining valuable support and training from Czajka Care Group.
She said: “I started working in childcare at my son’s school but moved across to adult care, which I have found much more rewarding.
“I love supporting our residents and their families and helping in any way that I can. From the everyday personal care aspect of my role, to administering medications and helping with activities and organising events, every day is different.
“I feel proud to play a part in our residents’ lives and am looking forward to my new role, which will see me supporting our team’s development whilst continuing to care for our residents.”
Larkin said: “I started working in care when I was 16 whilst studying for a BTEC in social care at sixth form college. Over time I have gained more responsibilities, and alongside my daily care and medication roles, I have worked hard to progress in my career.
“The people I work with are like one big extended family and to see so many smiling faces and contented residents makes this job worthwhile.
“My new role will see me continue to make sure all our residents are safe, secure and well cared for, whilst also taking on more managerial responsibilities.”

Leeds-based digital experience and performance agency, Enjoy Digital, has appointed Tosh Balding as head of delivery and Jess Nicholls as project lead, to streamline its project delivery process and support its next stage of growth, following a series of big client wins.
With over 20 years of experience in digital marketing, Balding joins to support the project management team and oversee the direction and delivery of all client projects.
Prior to his appointment, he spent over a decade working at IMA Home, and was instrumental in the agency’s expansion.

She will be responsible for managing platform-based projects and enhancing team operations, while bringing empathy and clear communication to all her key stakeholders.
