Study centre launch aims to ensure people are equipped for ‘jobs of the future’

Arden University – a provider of flexible, online and blended learning – has opened a new study centre in Leeds.

The centre at Park Square has officially opened for students and follows similar Arden University expansions in Manchester and Birmingham.

The centre will offer a modern study experience, with teaching facilities and study spaces for the university’s students who will be able to study courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

It will help ensure people across the city are equipped for the jobs of the future and support the local economy during the digital transition. This includes a focus on key skills such as management and digital skills, with courses available in subjects such as business, healthcare and law.

Vitaly Klopot, chief innovation and commercial officer at the university, said: “Ensuring our students are ready for the jobs of tomorrow is an ethos Arden University is strongly passionate about, and we’re incredibly excited to have expanded our footprint in Leeds.

“As an education institution we have an important role to ensure our graduates have the knowledge they need to fill the skills gaps the labour market desperately needs filling.

“Leeds is the next ideal location for Arden University to make its mark and support people across the city as they gain the skills they need to succeed in the jobs the local economy needs now, and in the future.”

The new centre marks the next stage of the university’s growth. It also has three sites in London, two sites in Birmingham and one in Manchester, and has expanded globally to the UAE, Pakistan and Berlin.
