Workplace interiors firm wins head office design and fit out contract

Baildon-based workplace interiors specialist, ACS Interiors, has won a contract to design and fit out the head office of Ecology Building Society.

The Silsden-headquartered mutual building society appointed the interiors specialist due to its expertise in creating eco-friendly and sustainable workspaces. The value of the contact is undisclosed.

ACS Interiors is supplying a range of environmentally friendly office furniture and products for multi-purpose and hot-desking workspaces to reduce the building society’s carbon footprint.

Alongside this, the interior specialist is also providing further guidance on carbon reduction initiatives which align with Ecology’s green society values. The team from ACS Interiors supporting on the fit-out included interior specialists Vicky Kkais and Gill Wild.

Trevor Radding, facilities and health and safety manager at Ecology Building Society, said: “A significant part of our refurbishment process was making sure we had suppliers who shared our values and visions and offer appropriate advice and guidance without pressure.

“ACS Interiors certainly fitted this brief. From the offset, the team showcased dedication and professionalism in ensuring we were communicated with at every stage.”

ACS Interiors is part of the ACS Group which employs nearly 130 people and has a turnover of £26m. The group recently confirmed it is investing £250,000 in sustainable initiatives with the aim of becoming net zero by 2030.
