Flagship celebrity restaurant and bar now open

Italian chef, Gino D’Acampo, has unveiled his new restaurant in Leeds today – 14 April.

The venue is in the newly refurbished Marriott Hotel on Boar Lane, following a £2m transformation. The interiors have been created by international restaurant designer, Bernard Carroll and the opening is expected to create 52 jobs.

Guests will be greeted by a 13-meter Onyx bar, a seated cicchetti counter surrounding the brass pizza oven as well as an outdoor terrace for warmer weather.

The restaurant will be open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and cocktails until late. Reservations are available now.

An à-la-carte menu, designed by D’Acampo and his team of chefs, will be delivered by head chef Emanulele Diana.

It incorporates a generous selection of Italian classic dishes with a focus on quality and ingredient provenance.

Signature dishes include arancine al funghi, linguine alle vongole, and vitello alla Milanese. An extensive dessert menu is also on offer, which includes the founder’s own personal favourite – tiramisù.

D’Acampo said: “I couldn’t be happier to finally share our incredible new project with you all. I’m extremely proud of the work that’s gone into creating my new restaurant. Myself and our talented team are excited to welcome all our guests.”

Diana added: “Bookings for our new opening have gone through the roof. We’re pleased to see that the people of Yorkshire are just as excited about our new restaurant as we are. It’s quite the showstopper and our team can’t wait to welcome you all.’’

Beyond Law Group’s specialist legal practice, Beyond Corporate, has advised Gino D’Acampo Hotels and Leisure on the new restaurant opening.

The transaction was led by Beyond Corporate real estate Partner, Hannah Al-Shaghana, who has been the practice’s principal advisor and lead real estate lawyer for Gino D’ Campo Hotels and Leisure since its inception.

Al-Shaghana said: “It is always a pleasure to work with the incredible team at Gino D’Acampo Hotels and Leisure group and it is wonderful to be a part of its growth into the hotel sector.

“The new site at Leeds Marriot is the perfect location for the new restaurant and its opening will be a very welcome addition to the city’s food and drink scene.”
