Webinar on securing assets timely, as insolvency numbers rise

TheBusinessDesk.com is holding a webinar on 11 May for property professionals offering strategic and tactical advice on securing assets.

With corporate insolvencies looking to rise this year according to the latest figures issued this week from the Insolvency Service, securing assets and protecting a financial position is essential as businesses get into distress and creditors look to secure their position.

The figures show that there were 2,457 company insolvencies in March in England and Wales, which was also 16% higher than the same month last year and double that of March 2020 at the start of the pandemic. Of these the majority – 2,011 – were Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations, a process where directors close their company voluntarily.

In many cases business assets are intangible, such as software and intellectual property, or standard office furniture, but when the assets being sought are physical stock, the need to secure them is acute.

And when the dispute is over security of property, then the need to have a robust legal position is only as good as the security of the site itself.

That’s where the professionals come in. Featuring ex-professional military officers from Vigilance, Seb MacKenzie-Wilson, Kathryn Ross and Mark McDonald, this webinar is aimed at property and asset managers and turnaround professionals and will provide useful information and strategy from a team of ex-Armed Forces staff focused on securing positive outcomes.

This TheBusinessDesk.com webinar with Vigilance will be of great interest to anyone involved in the business of asset recovery, business turnaround and property management.
