Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards entry deadline extended

The prestigious Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards 2023, which recognise the region’s brightest and talented finance stars, have extended the nominations deadline to the end of the day on Monday, 5 June.

The awards, which recognise, promote and celebrate exceptional finance leaders in Yorkshire, are now in their seventh year. They showcase the achievements of regional finance directors, chief finance officers, financial controllers and wider finance teams, who are the bedrock of the region’s economic growth.

Categories include:

  • Best Diversity and Inclusion

  • Best Yorkshire Finance Leader in an International Company

  • Best Yorkshire Finance Leader in a Private Equity-Backed Company

  • Best Finance Leader in a Private or Family-Owned Business

  • Deal of the Year

  • Significant Impact

  • High Growth

  • Yorkshire Finance Team of the Year

  • Yorkshire Finance Leader in a PLC

The shortlisted nominations will be interviewed by the judging panel in July and winners will be revealed at a black-tie awards ceremony at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, on 12 October.

Award sponsors include leading global professional services firm Aon, international professional services company BDO LLP, financial recruitment specialist Marks Sattin, and Lloyds Bank.

We welcome entries from regional finance directors, chief finance officers, financial controllers and wider finance teams across any sector and size. Whether you’re a large corporation or SME, ensure you submit your nomination by Monday 5 June.”

Some of 2022’s winners were NG Bailey’s chief finance officer Jonathan Stockton, Laura Green finance director at Cubico UK, Lucy Bolton from Camira Fabrics, and Alan Richardson from Evri.
