Credit union grows footprint to offer more people accessible banking

Bradford Credit Union, which is dedicated to providing affordable and accessible banking services, is launching its services into Kirklees.

It says the expansion into another part of West Yorkshire marks an important milestone and furthers its commitment to serving local communities and promoting financial inclusion.

A launch event at Kingsgate Shopping Centre, in Huddersfield, takes place on 3 June from 10am-2pm.

It will provide an opportunity for residents of Kirklees and surrounding areas to learn about the services and benefits offered by Bradford Credit Union.

Katie Hurrell, CEO at Bradford District Credit Union, said: “We are thrilled to bring our services to the residents of Kirklees.

“We strongly believe in the power of accessible financial services and their potential to transform lives.

“By establishing a presence in Kirklees, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of local individuals and families by providing them with fair and affordable financial solutions.”

Products and services offered include savings accounts, loans and community projects.

The credit union explains that it aims to empower individuals to manage their finances effectively and work towards their financial goals.

It adds that by expanding its footprint and establishing a local presence, it can strengthen its ties with the community and provide accessible banking solutions to a broader audience.
