Yorkshire Business of the Year: calling all start-ups
Yorkshire offers a supporting ecosystem to start and nurture new businesses.
In 2021 – the latest year for which statistics are available – there were 24,985 new businesses in the region despite the pandemic, according to the ONS. And the five-year survival rate for new ventures is better than the UK average.
We want to hear from the region’s entrepreneurs and new businesses for our 2024 Yorkshire Business of the Year awards. You can find the entry forms here.
This year’s awards are backed by headline sponsors CMS, LDC, RBC Brewin Dolphin and Verlingue. Category sponsors include Gillbanks.
The Start Up award will celebrate a business that has been actively trading for three years or less. The judges will be looking for a business that is making its mark and is creating the right foundations for growth.
Last year’s winner was Boxphish, which specialises in cybersecurity awareness training and simulation. CTS UK, NorthCap, and Pivot Search were shortlisted.
If you’re an exciting start-up in Yorkshire and the Humber, we want to hear your success story.
