Contract and client numbers surge for job management software provider
Leeds-based job management software specialist, BigChange, has achieved its best ever six months for customer acquisition and contract wins.
The company, which is 10-years-old this month, was founded in Leeds in 2013 by the now chairman Martin Port.
The firm set out to streamline field service businesses by reducing paperwork and automating their processes.
Its software now gives clients access to customer relationship management, job scheduling, an app for engineers and technicians, financial management, vehicle tracking, business analytics and more, all from one platform.
In 2021, Great Hill Partners, the private equity firm behind Wayfair, ZoomInfo and Reward Gateway, invested significant capital to drive further growth and innovation at BigChange.
The firm has welcomed 200 new customers in the last six months, along with about £19m worth of contract wins – both record-breaking numbers for the business.
Over the course of the decade, the company has scheduled over 58m jobs, saving its customers over 26 million hours of admin time and 19.5 million hours of engineer’s time through its job management software.
It now has a team of over 250 staff based in the UK, France, Poland and Ukraine.
Richard Warley, CEO, said: “We couldn’t be happier to be celebrating 10 years of BigChange this month, and what better way to do with a record-breaking six months. The team has already achieved so much in 2023, with much more to come.
“BigChange’s customers are the backbone of the UK economy. They are a group of hard driving entrepreneurs and professionals that keep the country running through their essential work across Plumbing, Building Maintenance, Electrical Contracting, Utilities and Drainage Works.
“We are 100% focused on helping them reach their business goals by generating more revenue, improving both their businesses performance and their sustainability and by reducing costs through the easy to use software solution that we provide.
“Our customers’ needs are ever-evolving, which is why we’re continuing to accelerate the development of our technology.”
