International expansion beckons for tech recruiter

Technology recruitment firm SPG Resourcing has marked its second anniversary by confirming international expansion plans and the creation of 10 new jobs over the coming year.

The company expects revenue to hit £7m this year and rise to £25m by 2025.

It plans to build on its current bases of Leeds and Newcastle with offices in London and USA. The expansion will be achieved through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.

Sam Hameed, co-founder and managing director of the company, said: “We’ve come a long way in two years, and it’s worth taking a moment to celebrate the hard work with our talented team.

“However, we have big plans for the business in the UK and overseas, where demand for our unique approach to technology recruitment continues to grow.”

SPG Resourcing says it is seeing increasing demand for professionals with machine learning, cyber security and data science skills.

Organisations are seeking talent with expertise in these emerging fields to gain a competitive edge.
