City accountancy businesses join forces

D’Arcy Howard & Co, a firm of chartered certified accountants in Leeds, has merged with SMH BCL Accountants.
The move is designed to enhance client services, expand business development opportunities, and ensure sustained growth for the future.
The merger has led to the formation of a new entity called SMH D’Arcy Howard & Co Limited.

SMH BCL Accountants, which forms part of the SMH Group, has a longstanding presence in Leeds and as part of the group boasts a team of chartered accountants, chartered tax advisers, independent financial advisers, and legal executives, as well as specialists in Residential Mortgages and Commercial Finance.
Clients of SMH D’Arcy Howard & Co will benefit from direct access to these additional services, allowing comprehensive financial solutions to be accessed within one group of companies.

The new entity will operate from the existing SMH BCL Accountants office on Pavilion Business Park, in Lower Wortley, Leeds.
As the merger proceeds, Hussain will transition to a consulting role while continuing to serve clients alongside Pocklington and her dedicated team.
