Cleaning firm wins arcade contract
Leeds security firm Gough & Kelly has extended its facilities management package to include a commercial cleaning service and scooped a new contract with Queens Arcade Leeds.
The £100,000 Queens Arcade contract was awarded by CHP Management Ltd and covers the cleaning of walkways and thoroughfares across the site as well as maintaining all facilities.
Located within the pedestrianised area of Leeds city centre, Queens Arcade houses over 20 retail units and is home to retailers including household names and niche independents alongside cafes and coffee shops – some of which have been located there for over 30 years. Current occupiers include Accent, Tunnel, Levi Strauss, Schuh, Arkade Barbers, The North Face, Ollie Quinn, Office, and Allertons.
Gough & Kelly client manager Sean Morgan says, “We are thrilled to add Queens Arcade to our client portfolio, and we are actively rolling out our cleaning service to more commercial clients as part of our wider facilities management package.
“One of its unique selling points is our commitment to using only environmentally friendly products manufactured here in Yorkshire. We are proud to partner with innovative cleaning products manufacturer, Solupak – the company behind the first single–use plastic-free cleaning brand in the commercial cleaning sector.”
