UK MedTech Innovation Assembly line-up announced
The line-up for the UK MedTech Innovation Assembly ‘23 has officially been announced, bringing together over 50 leading MedTech and HealthTech innovators from across the UK under one roof in the centre of Leeds.
Organised in response to Halston Group’s latest whitepaper, the UK MedTech Innovation Assembly 2023 will spark partnerships and collaborations from across the MedTech and HealthTech spheres. Moreover, the UK MedTech Innovation Assembly 2023 will address the major challenges facing innovators with the help of industry leading professionals. Exploring investment, cybersecurity, AI, and numerous technology facets that come under the MedTech/HealthTech umbrella, the full day event promises a rare opportunity for attendees to meet those at the cutting edge of their industries.
When asked about the UK MedTech Innovation Assembly 2023, Jessica Farrow, Head of Digital Communication and Insight at Halston group and author of their most recent whitepaper MedTech and HealthTech: The New Realm of Patient Care, said: “Collaboration within the MedTech and HealthTech industries has been segmented geographically for too long, stunting the innovation due to the lack of communication between the regions.

One of the most anticipated topics covered at the event is SportsTech section of the day. With sports professionals in attendance, the Uncovering Innovation in the SportsTech Scene will be chaired by Andrea Utley, Head of SportsTech at Leeds University, and will showcase the world’s leading SportsTech used by elite athletes, Olympians, and Paralympians.
Other panels include Child Healthcare: The Pinnacle of Preventative Care and MedTech Eco-system Collaboration, which will feature a spokesperson from each of the UK’s MedTech Eco-system cities who will discuss their successes and challenges within their evolving disciplines. Each event will be concluded with an opportunity for attendees to chat and connect with panellists, including a reverse pitching opportunity that flips the power dynamic by putting leading MedTech investment firms in the hotseat.
