Judges shortlist 64 for Yorkshire Leadership Awards

The shortlist for the Yorkshire Leadership Awards can be revealed after an intense judging session.
Sixty-four individuals from 61 organisations have been selected as finalists for the awards in 15 categories.
The winners will be revealed at a gala event at the Queens Hotel, Leeds, on Thursday 21 March. The overall Yorkshire Leader of the Year winner will be selected from the category winners and announced on the night. Tickets for that event are available through the awards website.
Winners of the 2023 Northern Leadership Awards
The judging panel included Karl Oxford of African and Caribbean Business Ventures, Bex Williams of Bradford 2025, Dan Fell of Doncaster Chamber, and 2019 winner Taryn Edge.
TheBusinessDesk.com Yorkshire editor Andrew Staples said, “Judging such awards is never an easy task, and this year was particularly difficult due to the outstanding calibre of candidates. I’m very grateful to our judges, whose dedication and experience in a variety of sectors proved invaluable in selecting the finalists.
“It was a tough task even to shortlist several categories, such was the quality of entries, and I would like to congratulate each and every individual who has made it through to the shortlist – that in itself is no mean feat, and our shortlisted leaders can take pride in it.
“This has not been an easy year for business, but great leaders make a great difference in their organisations – here in Yorkshire we have many great leaders, and I am delighted we are able to celebrate the best of the best through these awards.”
The Yorkshire Leadership Awards are sponsored by First Direct Arena, Hall Brown Family Law, Vertu Motors and Zest.
