Bigger office premises for commercial building consultancy

Commercial building, project and sustainability consultancy, Jones Hargreaves, has moved to larger premises in Leeds and London to support its continued expansion.

The consultancy firm has made a 1,500 sq ft office in The Ironworks building on David Street in Leeds its new base in the city.

Located in Holbeck, The Ironworks is a newly built residential development with commercial use on the ground floor.

In London, the team now occupies a 2,000 sq ft space located on Little Portland Street. The property has been newly refurbished by Weybourne Holdings, a client of Jones Hargreaves.

Jones Hargreaves has also welcomed several senior team members to the business in recent weeks.

Harry McDermott has joined as associate director in London, Alex Ley as senior surveyor in Bristol, Kara Boddy as senior surveyor in London and Matthew Jenkins as senior energy and carbon consultant in London.

The office moves and new hires follow a successful 2023, during which the business grew from a team of 22 to 35 and opened new offices in Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow.

Matthew Jones, founding partner, said: “Last year we had planned to implement sustained growth and we’re happy to have achieved this while working on a range of incredible projects with our clients.

“It was a momentous year for Jones Hargreaves and we’re really proud of the whole team.

“I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our newest team members, who join us at an exciting time.

“As we move forward, we’ll continue to concentrate on delivering quality projects and hiring fantastic people to keep standards high in the commercial building sector.”
