Powerhouse Energy has signed an agreement to put its technology into hydrogen-based projects across Australia, Italy, Switzerland, and Hong Kong.
The five-year deal will support Australian company National H2’s intended roll out of projects through a license fee and royalties model.
The company believes the projects “could mark a significant milestone for Powerhouse, demonstrating our growing global reputation and our commitment to driving the development of sustainable energy solutions”.
Powerhouse Energy’s chief executive Paul Emmitt said: “This a major milestone for us, delivers a significant endorsement for our technology and know-how and provides us with both a platform for growth and a potential long-term income stream.”
Emmitt said the framework agreement was the result of “several years of work, discussion and negotiation”.
Its subsidiary, Engsolve, will undertake the front-end engineering design for the facilities, which would be fully funded by National H2.
