Relocation for engineers to accommodate growth

The Leeds office of civil and structural engineers RWO has shifted to new premises to accommodate strong growth and demand for an expanding range of services.

The move from Park Place sees the company take office space at Mabgate Mills on the outskirts of Leeds, increasing current capacity.

It follows four years of expansion for the firm, which has continued to develop its regional presence and diversify the range of services it offers following investment in resources to secure new work.

With a forecasted turnover of over £2.8m in FY24, RWO has seen an increased workload from both regional private and public sector clients.

A rising volume of work in the infrastructure, residential housing and commercial property sectors has led to greater diversification for RWO across the Yorkshire and wider market.

RWO managing director Ross Oakley said additional technician and senior engineer roles will be created as investment to strengthen the existing team continues and workloads increase.

He added: “We are busier than ever, winning major new projects as well as growing the scope of work undertaken for current clients.

“We are very much a business on the rise, investing in a new office to increase our footprint, accommodate future growth and provide the best possible environment to enable the team to thrive and deliver excellent service.

“The move signals the next exciting chapter for our operations, laying firm foundations as we go from strength-to-strength with the capacity to deliver sustainable growth.

“We look forward to continuing to diversify our service offering and client base, while developing a strong presence in Leeds and beyond.”
