Logistics firm goes into administration

Christopher Brooksbank of Elland-based CB Business Recovery has been appointed administrator for Leeds logistics firm Centika Logistics.

Centika, solely owned and run by recruiter Jaroslaw Puzniak and based at Old Mill Business Park in Hunslett, started as a recruitment firm in 2014, but changed its name to focus on logistics in 2018. It had more than 50 drivers offering general, road, refrigerated and container haulage, according to its website.

The firm held a standard international licence to operate 30 HGVs and 60 trailers from its premises, according to the website Motor Transport.

The firm’s website said it was a leading transport and logistics company, adding, ” With a strong focus on efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, we have built a reputation for delivering the best transport and logistics solutions in the industry.

“Our team of experienced professionals have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the transport and logistics sector, and are dedicated to providing the highest standard of service to our clients.”

Users on Truck Net UK noticed that the firm’s offices had closed on April 30.
