Financial advisor with £490m worth of assets under administration is acquired
Retirement advisory business, My Pension Expert, has acquired Tenet&You.
My Pension Expert, which is backed by Palatine Private Equity, is based in Doncaster. It provides independent financial advice to consumers nationwide via telephone and video conferencing.
Tenet&You is a financial advisor that provides tailored advice to ensure clients’ finances are in the best possible place to match their individual circumstances and aspirations. It formerly operated as an appointed representative of the Tenet Group.
The acquisition is intended to combine the strengths and expertise of My Pension Expert and Tenet&You, further improving access to independent financial advice and ensuring the best possible outcomes for consumers.
Tenet&You has £490m worth of assets under administration, taking the combined entity of Tenet&You and My Pension Expert to approximately £1bn worth of assets under influence.
As part of the process, Tenet&You will become an appointed representative of My Pension Expert.
In due course, all clients will be moved across to My Pension Expert systems as they become part of the My Pension Expert group.
My Pension Expert was advised on the transaction by Park Place (M&A), Addleshaw Goddard (Legal), Cortus (FDD) and Thistle (Reg DD).
