Fresh international export opportunities for dental product business

Dental company EthOss Regeneration Ltd has achieved further international growth, with its bone grafting material now being distributed in Morocco.

The company, headquartered in Silsden, West Yorkshire, produces a synthetic material – EthOss® – which encourages new bone growth during dental implant procedures, and which is available in more than 65 countries.

EthOss has agreed a partnership with distributor Megagen Maroc to widen its international export reach into Morocco, where more than 40,000 dental implants are estimated to be carried out each year.

Peter Wheeler, EthOss managing director, said: “Our new relationship with Megagen Maroc is a fantastic opportunity for us to continue our growth in North Africa and the Middle East.

“EthOss exports have increased by 42% in the last three years, with exports now accounting for 65% of turnover, which emphasises the importance we place in our international markets.”

Kacem Lahlou, from MegaGen Maroc, added: “As the newly appointed distributor for Morocco, I am thrilled to embark on this journey with EthOss, pioneering the future of bone grafting.

“Together, we will revolutionise the landscape of regenerative medicine, bringing cutting-edge solutions to patients and practitioners alike.

“Joining the EthOss family is not just an opportunity; it’s a commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of dentistry. Let’s shape the future of bone health together.”

EthOss has experienced an eighth consecutive year of growth, having been launched 10 years ago by dental implantologist Dr Peter Fairbairn and biomaterials expert Dr Paul Harrison.

The company has continued to expand its team in the last two years, and is eyeing new export markets around the world, to add to a list that includes Australia, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Sweden.

Last month EthOss revealed the appointment of a new distributor in Greece and Cyprus – Southern Implants.
