Expanding stairlift maker doubles its assembly floor space

West Yorkshire-based Bespoke Stairlifts, a provider of mobility solutions, has invested in a 24,000 sq ft industrial facility in Bradford to accommodate the business’s continued growth.

The new Assembly and Distribution Centre will be home to the firm’s rail manufacturing and fulfilment operations.

Gavin Finn, CEO, said: “Our new Assembly and Distribution Centre almost doubles the square footage of our existing assembly floor. This bespoke facility will maximise our efficiencies and gives us the space to continue growing.”

In a move to further strengthen its team and expertise, the company has also welcomed new employees with decades of experience between them, including Simon Webster as head of marketing.

He brings experience and insight garnered from years of service in the stairlift industry.

Webster said: “This is an exciting time for Bespoke Stairlifts, and I am thrilled to join the company at such a pivotal point in their journey.

“Our aim is to not only maintain and build upon our reputation as the go-to choice as manufacturer and supplier of stairlifts worldwide, but to establish our direct sales arm, Homelife, as the brand of choice for customers.”

Joanne Kennedy, commercial director, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Simon to our team. His expertise will be instrumental in driving our mission forward and ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation and customer satisfaction.”

Finn added: “We are committed to pushing boundaries and exceeding expectations. Our continued investment, expanded focus, and recruitment of experienced employees are testament to our dedication to support the growth of the business.”
