Stephanie Kaye

Clarion has promoted Stephanie Kaye to partner in the costs and litigation funding team.

Kaye joined Leeds-based Clarion as a paralegal in 2013.

Roger Hutton, joint managing partner at Clarion, said: “Stephanie has gone from strength to strength, since joining Clarion 11 years ago. It’s no surprise and yet no mean feat, that Stephanie has now moved into the role of Partner – a role I know she’ll thrive in.

“The Costs and Litigation Funding team has worked hard to become nationally recognised for the trusted support, advice and expertise it offers to its clients. Stephanie has played an instrumental role in this, and her promotion is testament to that.

“It’s talented individuals like Stephanie who not only help us deliver our national growth strategy, but they are also instrumental in attracting the best talent across the region.”

Leeds-headquartered property group Eddisons has made six senior promotions in Yorkshire, including creating three new regional directors, across its valuations, plant and machinery, strategic advisory, insolvency and building consultancy teams.

In Yorkshire, Jack Hutchinson, based in Leeds, has been promoted to be the firm’s youngest regional director at 33. He joined Eddisons as a graduate surveyor and has risen rapidly through the ranks, now heading the firm’s £1.5m-turnover valuation team across Yorkshire and the North East.

Javid Patel

Javid Patel, who heads Eddisons’ public sector team from the Leeds office, has been promoted to Yorkshire and North East regional director for the firm’s strategic advisory services.

Leeds-based Richard Temple, who joined Eddisons as a graduate in 2007, has been made regional director in the plant and machinery division.

Also in Yorkshire, Leeds-based Matt Hattersley has been promoted to director in the insolvency team, where he is involved in asset valuation and advisory, business recovery and restructuring.

Education sector specialist, Sheffield-based Jack Cooper, has been made associate director in the building consultancy team, and in the Leeds office Phoebe Bousfield has been promoted to marketing communications manager.

Eddisons managing director Anthony Spencer said: “Huge congratulations to colleagues who have received these well-deserved promotions. Eddisons is one of the fastest growing property firms in the UK and that is undoubtedly down to the excellence, expertise and passion of our people.”

Agency HUB has continued to expand its service offering with the addition of new team members across its creative and digital departments.

The Leeds-based agency has hired two video editors, Andy Bland and Rhys Taylor, and expanded its digital offering with the arrival of Sanjay Purewal as head of SEO, Matt Jones as head of digital PR and Matt Wilson as paid media analyst.

The new recruits bring a wealth of client experience with them, including Ann Summers, Thortful, L’Oreal and McDonald’s.

HUB’s appointment of Jones also marks the first time HUB has offered digital PR to clients in-house.

“As SEO and paid media become increasingly important elements in the omnichannel marketing mix, we’ve seen a real groundswell of clients who are eager to invest in the services and reap the rewards,” said Rob Shaw, CEO at HUB.

“Appointing Malcolm Slade as performance director earlier in the year was only the first step in supporting our clients in this regard, and I’m confident that the appointment of three new members to the performance team is going to not only provide all the necessary support for our new SEO and paid media clients such as Good Move, Drytino and My Breeches, but transform our existing clients’ online strategies for the better.”
