Cat is out of the bag as luxury sports and gaming venue reveals opening
MHDL, the team behind restaurants El Gato Negro and Canto, are launching a second location for the group’s latest interactive new venue concept – Black Cat Club.
It follows on from the success of the brand’s Manchester site which opened earlier this year.
Opening today at the former El Gato Negro Leeds site on Park Row, the venue offers new elements for sports, music and entertainment lovers.
These include interactive shuffleboard and immersive darts, with nine screens – including a 98-inch mega screen – showing live sports, along with bands and DJs every weekend.
MHDL will unveil a newly curated menu of crowd-pleasing dishes featuring fan favourites from Black Cat Club Manchester such as buttermilk chicken bites with curry mayonnaise, salt and pepper ribs, and a £10 lunch offer.
The venue’s bar will serve signature cocktails and a large variety of beers and wines.
Guests watching live sports can also expect “push for service” buttons, so they can order drinks and food straight to their table without missing a moment of the action.
Black Cat Club Leeds will be hosting weekly events including a Monday night quiz, live music on Friday evenings, DJ takeovers on Fridays and Saturdays.
Lucy Silcock, operations manager from Mills Hill Development Ltd, said: “We are excited to reveal the second site of Black Cat Club in Leeds on Park Row.
“Thanks to the incredible success of our first Black Cat Club concept site which opened this March in Manchester, we’re ready to go again and bring this high energy and premium concept to Leeds.
“Black Cat Club strives to bring the community together through contemporary food, gaming and the cities’ love of sports in luxurious settings, like no other.”
