Yorkshire firm swoops for London-based IT support provider

Leeds-based IT specialist Fresh Mango Technologies (UK) has completed its acquisition of Hotech Ltd.

Hotech, headquartered in South London, is a full-service IT support provider, with services including outsourced IT support, computer systems and server supply and installation, with the main focus of support being the hotel and hospitality sector.

Fresh Mango says Hotech is an “ideal strategic fit”, thanks to the geographic location of its principal client base.

Fresh Mango already provides a range of business IT services to clients in all business sectors across the Yorkshire region and nationally from offices in Leeds, Ripon and Skipton. Now that portfolio has extended following the addition of Hotech’s clients.

Mark Beecroft, director of Hotech, said: “Due to our close and long-standing relationships with our clients it was crucial for us to find an organisation that shared the same values as us while at the same time having the sufficient scale to provide the highest levels of customer service.

“Fresh Mango demonstrated this throughout our discussions with them.”

The deal is Fresh Mango’s fourth acquisition, further expanding its network of businesses in the UK. Fresh Mango managing director, Guy Phoenix, said: “Hotech’s offering and ethos are almost identical to ours with a national customer reach.

“The Fresh Mango mission is to bring much-needed first-class IT support to even more SMEs. Hotech will help us to continue to fulfil that mission and we’re delighted that they’re now part of the Fresh Mango family.”

Fresh Mango’s customer base embraces a variety of sectors such as finance, professional services, logistics and agriculture.

In addition, the firm supports a range of applications and devices including Microsoft, Apple and Google.

Its acquisition of Hotech expands its expertise in server installation and migration, cloud services, connectivity and cyber security.
