Tech millionaire to speak at flagship Yorkshire conference
An influential business heavyweight has joined the impressive list of keynote speakers for next month’s Business of Yorkshire Conference in Leeds.
Organised by www.thebusinessdesk.com, the one-day event will see some of the region’s brightest commercial brains descend on the Leeds Marriott Hotel on Thursday, November 28 – supported by Lloyds Bank, Womble Bond Dickinson, The Northern Powerhouse Partnership and Leeds Trinity University.
Both the West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire Mayors are due to speak and they will now be joined by the Leeds-based tech millionaire Adam Hildreth.
The Business Desk’s managing director Lee-J Walker said: “It is fantastic to have Adam on board as a keynote speaker. He has already achieved so much and I’m sure his business success story will be a fascinating listen for everyone who attends.”
Hildreth has made a considerable name for himself in the tech sector, setting up and selling two successful businesses before the age of 40.
He started his first enterprise while still at school and then, in 2004, created Crisp Thinking, a pioneering risk detection service, which has a number of applications. He sold that to American giants Kroll last year.

The event starts at 9am and is split into three segments – business investment, people investment and regional investment.
There will also be five discussion panels, each one featuring five high-profile Yorkshire business figures, and the day will round off with 90 minutes of networking until 5.30pm.
