Long-established medical equipment manufacturer acquired by European group
Reinsberg Group, the MedTech holding of BHM Group, a Prague-based private equity family office, has acquired the majority stake in West Yorkshire-based medical equipment maker Brandon Medical.
This is part of Reinsberg Group’s strategy to build a strong group of independent European medical manufacturers, using their capabilities to achieve economies of scale in the global consolidation of the medical industry.

Brandon Medical is a manufacturer and designer of advanced technological solutions for operating theatres, critical care, and primary care, with over 70 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
The company focuses on investment in innovation, research, and development. Its portfolio of products includes surgical lights and control panels.

Reinsberg Group includes several key brands such as: ALVO Medical, a Polish manufacturer of hospital modular building systems, OR integration systems, and medical furniture; Famed Zywiec, a Polish medical equipment manufacturer concentrating on operating tables and hospital beds; and medifa, a German company offering products such as surgical tables, operating lights, modular hospital room solutions, and special equipment for operating rooms.
The Reinsberg Group companies now account for combined annual sales of 90 million euros.
