‘Where Business Meets Golf’ – Clubhouse Leaders is accepting new members for the 2025 Season

If you’re a Yorkshire based business owner, senior leader, or professional, and interested in golf, you may have already heard about Clubhouse Leaders.

Entering its second year, the business looks set to rapidly expand its member base over the next few weeks; you should get in touch quickly if you want to be part of the action.

Clubhouse Leaders provides senior business leaders with the opportunity to grow and enhance their contacts whilst offering a season long, competitive format.

“Our first year has been great. We created a strong, vibrant group with 35 highly engaged members. We are looking forward to growing this further during 2025,” commented Stephen Foster, Director.

Throughout the 2024 season members competed in a series of nine rounds of golf, spending their time with the members that best matched their business interests. The format worked well, with 100% of members saying that they would recommend Clubhouse Leaders to a friend or colleague.

The format will remain the same for 2025, but with the introduction of some new courses. See below for the full Event Series

A Member Directory is prepared and shared within the Clubhouse Leaders Community. This allows members to identify the individuals of most interest to their business needs, and request time with them on the course.

The Clubhouse Leaders team are also on hand at events to facilitate direct introductions. There is no forced business pitching, the idea is that natural relationships are developed in a relaxed environment.

Members don’t need to enter every event, as long as they play in 3, they will have a chance to be crowned the ultimate ‘Clubhouse Leader’, winning the Order of Merit, and a trip to Portugal.

In 2025 Hugh Spillane, CEO of DNA Financial Solutions won the Order of Merit. Hugh commented: “The real wins came from the new contacts that I created; Clubhouse Leaders gives a whole season of opportunity to spend quality time with business leaders. This leads to deeper relationships than are possible at one-off events. The Portugal trip was the icing on the cake.”

The business was set up in Jan 2024 by Stephen & Nikki Foster. They each have over two decades of building their business networks within the region. Stephen is Corporate Development Director for full-service global law firm Squire Patton Boggs, and Nikki has recently been appointed Director for funding experts Fresh Thinking Advisory.

Anyone looking to join the Membership Network needs to get involved quickly as the first event is on 2nd April at Selby Golf Club.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for the 2025 season.
