City restaurant will aim to integrate business with leisure

A restaurant is set to open within the ground floor of Hyatt Place Hotel, in Leeds city centre, next month.
Situated within Sovereign Square, the restaurant, Zoom, will offer a contemporary take on global cuisine with a strong Asian influence.
It aims to become a destination for business professionals and commuters alike looking for a setting for meetings, working lunches and after-hours networking.
Signature dishes will include Crispy Beef and a Superfood Poke Bowl – as well as Yorkshire inspired dishes such as the Large Yorkshire Pudding.
Within the restaurant will also be “The Market”, offering prepared lunches for busy city workers. Freshly prepared and locally sourced salads, sandwiches and seasonal specials will be available for those needing to dine on the go, as well as coffee courtesy of local roastery, North Star.
The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with morning service running from 6.30am to 9am on weekdays and 7am to 10am on weekends.
From Monday to Saturday, an all-day menu will be available from 11.30am to 9.30pm, while on Sundays, a Sunday Roast menu will be served from 11am to 5pm before transitioning to dinner until 9.30pm.
Leading the kitchen is Head Chef, Angelina Au, whose 30-year career spans five-star hotels and UK restaurants such as Shangri-La Hotels and Four Seasons Resorts.
Commenting on Zoom she said: “We wanted to create a dining space that caters not only to hotel guests but also to the wider community, particularly business professionals who seek an inspiring and comfortable setting for meetings and corporate dining.
“With a menu built on bold, dynamic flavours and an atmosphere that encourages both productivity and relaxation, we’re confident our restaurant will become a must-visit destination for those looking to integrate business and leisure in Leeds.”
