People: Walker Morris; Leeds Academic Health Partnership; Redmayne Bentley; and more

Walker Morris has appointed Laura Gordon and Daniel Glowacz as partners to its Infrastructure and Energy (I&E) and Real Estate teams, respectively.
Project finance specialist Gordon is the second partner to be recruited into the I&E team in the past six months, moving from a 20-year tenure at DLA Piper.
She brings extensive experience working with both funders and borrowers to finance energy transition projects including ground mounted solar, onshore wind and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Her knowledge and experience align with Walker Morris’ strategic vision to support clients in achieving their net-zero goals.
With over 19-years’ experience, Glowacz joins from Addleshaw Goddard where he served as legal director and then partner.
He has supported real estate clients in delivering market-leading investment projects across the UK.
He intends to help build Walker Morris’ client portfolio, cultivating new relationships and expanding the firm’s footprint across the UK real estate market while maintaining his own client relationships.

Professor Shearer West
A partnership in Leeds which focuses on research and innovation in health and care has welcomed new city leaders to its board.
Representing two of the city’s largest institutions, Leeds City Council’s new chief executive Ed Whiting and the University of Leeds’ new vice-chancellor Professor Shearer West joined the board of Leeds Academic Health Partnership.
The board comprises the chief executives and vice-chancellors of the partner’s member organisations from across the city and the region.
The partnership brings together expertise from across member organisations to help solve some of the city’s hardest health challenges, prioritising people who experiencing the greatest inequalities.
West said: “Our university’s health research excellence and impact is internationally renowned, so I’m happy to have this opportunity to shape our support and impact right here in Leeds.
“This partnership provides the ideal vehicle to ensure our focus on disease prevention and early, effective treatments of ill health also aligns with and responds to the city’s most pressing health needs.”

Vittoria Vaccaro has joined Redmayne Bentley’s Financial Planning team as the firm further develops Financial Planning as one of its key services.
She joins from financial advisers, The Private Office (TPO), and will play a pivotal role in providing tailored financial planning to existing and new clients.
She will be based primarily in the firm’s head office in Leeds and in the Harrogate office.
Redmayne Bentley’s Financial Planning Service provides guidance on matters including inheritance tax and estate planning, retirement planning and tax efficient investing, underpinned by cash flow modelling to help bring plans to life.
Vaccaro’s responsibilities as a financial planner will include driving business development by building key relationships with professionals, as well as private clients, in order to contribute to the strategic growth of the Financial Planning department.

H&H Land & Estates has promoted Robert Jauneika to director, heading its Land Agency business throughout Yorkshire and the North East.
He joined in February 2019 and since this time has provided a range of rural professional advisory and agency services.
He has helped develop the business, the company’s geographical spread and client portfolio.
