Housing providers join forces to develop 122 affordable homes

Vistry Group, a provider of mixed-tenure homes, has partnered with housing provider Thirteen Group to develop 122 homes in Beverley.
Delivered for Thirteen by Vistry’s East Yorkshire business, the new homes will be offered in affordable rent and shared ownership tenures.
All will be built with timber frames supplied by Vistry Works, Vistry’s modular construction business.
Construction work is underway with the site expected to be finished by June 2026.
The new development forms part of Vistry’s wider site at Spark Mill Meadows; a joint venture with Strata Homes that is providing 900 homes in total, which includes separate phases being delivered for Sage, Auxesia and Together Housing Group.
Rob Spittles, regional managing director at Vistry East Yorkshire, said: “As a partnerships developer, we’re pleased to be working with Thirteen to deliver this parcel in 100% affordable housing tenures, giving local people genuine opportunities to own or rent a quality new home.
“The site is a perfect example of our unique model at Vistry – working with partners to deliver a range of housing choices, while also using the strengths of Vistry Works, our MMC (modern methods of construction) business, to build the homes more quickly and efficiently.”
Sharon Thomas, director of regeneration and partnerships at Thirteen Group, said: “We’ve identified East Yorkshire as an area of growth within our Development Strategy, so we’re happy to be working with Vistry – and with funding support from Homes England – to offer customers access to these high-quality new homes in Beverley.
“These homes form part of a prestigious new development in a fantastic location and we’re sure they will be sought after. We look forward to seeing them take shape.”
